Berenstain Bears Book Series

New Berenstain Bears Series will Benefit ANA! - Doylestown Presbyterian Church (DPC) has joined an exciting adventure with Michael Berenstain and Zonderkidz as they launch a new series of faith-based stories featuring the Berenstain Bears. The first four of the 12-book series will be available beginning October 1, 2008. DPC’s Mission Committee has designated a generous portion of the proceeds to ANA for its literacy programs for Native American Children.

These Berenstain Bears stories – favorites of children since 1962 – will feature the beloved characters of Mama, Papa, Brother and Sister Bear and will impart some simple wisdom to the young and young at heart.

The Berenstain Bears Update

What an incredible response we had to the launch of Michael Berenstain’s new faith-based Berenstain Bear series – with over 2,400 books sold! As a result, we had to order additional books, so delivery will now be in 3 to 4 weeks. Mike wants us to assure you that all orders which have already been placed will be filled and personalized. Thank you for your patience!

While we will not be asking Mike to personalize any further books, you may still order them by downloading the order form and the link below. All proceeds will go to children’s literacy programs in the Philadelphia area and on Native American reservations in the Southwest.

Mike, the Berenstain Bears, and Doylestown Presbyterian Church thank you for your support of this wonderful project. We also thank the many, many DPC volunteers who helped during the week. It was, indeed, a fantastic volunteer effort!
